Meet the Founder

Daniel Wood

Daniel has over 8 years of experience working in the environmental sector as a professional Freshwater Ecologist, delivering large-scale ecological monitoring programmes and habitat restoration projects.
Alongside his ecological career, Daniel has a background in regenerative agriculture. As a first-generation farmer, he established his own regenerative agricultural enterprise in Wales, producing beyond-organic produce and developing a strong passion for creating better pathways into farming.
Daniel founded Slipstream Ecology to share his experience and empower people and organisations through environmental education, mentoring, training and practical advice.
His experience spans ecology, agriculture, environmental education, leadership, project management and governance.
